This piece is an exercise of surrender, in which one body submits to the action of another. In this dialogue, the vulnerability of submission to an external power is externalized; at the same time, the unidirectionality of power is refuted, revealing a strength in the capacity to resist the influence of an external pressure. From this voluntary subjection, from this surrender, the question arises: What kind of power is distilled from a docile body?

This action points towards a reversibility of power, by suggesting that the maximum suggestion can be transformed into power and qualify the sublimation of an oppression.

I fold, bent over myself, I yield my weight to gravity. I submerge my head in a dark earth, trying to remain there. I offer myself, to lay an altar on my back.
